Our family is expanding and for our business unit FIBC we are looking for an International Key Account Manager.

Je droombaan?

As our new International Key Account Manager you will generate new business sales (50%) and leverage the potential of our international key accounts around the world. How? By building cross-border customer networks to gain insights into customers needs and challenges and translating these into sales opportunities and customer solutions. You will develop and implement long-term strategies for your customers by initiating, coordinating and leading your own sales projects which generate value for both; the customer and LC Packaging.

You will become (globaly) responsible to increase the sales of our FIBC’s (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers), also known as big bags, are used worldwide and the ideal packaging to protect dry bulk products during transport and temporary storage. Using FIBC’s helps reduce packaging material’s carbon footprint and increases supply chain safety.

You are probably great at a lot of things, such as:

  • You live for international business development and strategic and value based selling;
  • Networking and relationship building come natural as you understand corporate politics;
  • You have strong communication-skills; customer focused and performance-driven;
  • You are passionate about sustainability and finding sustainable solution;
  • You definitely don’t mind traveling for work mainly across Europe (40% per week).

Your skills

  • You are a team player with strong communication skills and a good listener; serving and supporting colleagues and partners is your core business;
  • You are able to set and coordinate priorities independently and in consultation with the IKAM and international colleagues;
  • You have great organisational skills and an eye for detail;
  • Your analyzing abilities enable you to give well-substantiated advice and make informed decisions;
  • The technical specifications of our packaging excite you;
  • You are independent and not afraid of a challenge;
  • You have an affinity for sales and solving our customers’ challenge;
  • Cross-cultural communication skills and respects cultural differences: you treat other people like you want to be treated yourselves; with respect and without unnecessary delay.
  • Knowledge & Experience
  • You have a Higher Vocational Education or University degree;
  • You have the senior experience to handle complex strategic salesprojects;
  • You live in the Netherlands (Randstad);
  • You are able to travel and visit our Key Accounts in Europe (20% of your role);
  • You will work from our Headoffice in Waddinxveen;
  • Bring 5-10 years of experience in a similar international commercial position, preferably in a B-to-B environment;
  • You have a natural interest in our FIBC product specifications (technical/ producing possibilities/ specifications);
  • Master the English and Dutch language in both word and writing. If you also know French at higher business levels, that is a plus;
  • You have experience with working in a multicultural, international environment;
  • You are familiar with CRM.
